Parse Text

Parse Colors from Text

Design notes, chat logs or CSS snippets all go in; the tool splits on spaces, commas and semicolons, recognizes colors, and lets you copy them as tappable swatches.

About text parsing

What it reads

Supports #RGB / #RRGGBB, rgb() / rgba(), hsl() / hsla(), and CSS color names (e.g. “tomato”). URLs are skipped automatically.

Typical use

Harvesting hex values from a design review chat, pulling every color out of a style draft, or turning a palette text someone sent into tappable swatches.

Dedupe

Results are de-duplicated by HEX so each color appears once — easy to copy as a list.

About this tool

📘

Color parser takes a blob of mixed HEX/RGB/HSL text and extracts every color automatically.

  • Paste the whole text that contains colors (design notes, CSS snippets, etc.).
  • The tool recognizes and extracts all colors into a copyable list.
  • Send the result into the generator or the palette library to keep organizing.

Tips

💡
  • Paste whole design notes or CSS; URLs are skipped automatically.
  • Results are de-duplicated by HEX, so what you copy is a clean list.
  • Want another format? Run the values through the Color Converter for RGB / CMYK.
