FAQ
Is 365Lab Color really free?
Yes. No account, no paywall, no usage limits. Every tool opens and works instantly.
Do you upload my images?
Never. Image extraction reads pixels locally through the Canvas API. Nothing is transmitted and data is discarded when you close the tab.
Can I use generated palettes commercially?
Absolutely. Colors themselves are not copyrightable — use any output in personal or commercial work, no attribution required.
How do I save colors I like?
Tap the heart icon on any swatch. Favorites are stored in your browser local storage and listed on the Favorites page.
What contrast ratio do I need?
Under WCAG 2.1: body text needs ≥ 4.5:1 (AA) or ≥ 7:1 (AAA); large text (18pt+, or 14pt bold) needs ≥ 3:1 (AA).
Which color formats are supported?
HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, CMYK, LAB and LCH convert freely between each other, with copy-ready CSS syntax.
