About this tool

📘

Image extraction reads pixels locally, pulls the dominant colors into a palette, and lets you click any pixel to sample it exactly — nothing is uploaded.

  • Import three ways: click the top area to choose a file, drag an image in, or just screenshot and press Ctrl+V (⌘+V on Mac) anywhere on the page — no need to save the file first.
  • After loading, dominant colors and their share are listed automatically; click anywhere on the image to sample that exact pixel, and the value is copied at once.
  • Open the result "in the generator" to turn the image palette into an editable scheme, or export CSS / PNG.

Tips

💡
  • Colors are extracted automatically; use the eyedropper to grab any specific point on the image.
  • Images are never uploaded — all pixel reading happens locally; cleared when you leave the page.
  • Send the extracted colors straight to the generator to turn them into a full palette.
